Physics & science teacher, fixed-term, full-time.
This position will commence at the beginning of the week, Monday, 8 September 2025.
We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join our science learning area. We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred physics and science teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and nurturing a love for the application of physics and science principles in our students.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in teaching physics-based curriculum areas, preferably up to NCEA Level 3.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $64,083 to $103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
We would anticipate the hours of work to be approximately 40 per week.
